Update: Letter for Key Workers

Tuesday 24thMarch 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

This afternoon we have taken the decision to close Ninestiles, An Academy from the end of the day today to all students, including those of key workers and vulnerable children, until further notice. This is because very few students have needed to be at Ninestiles this week, and in line with the latest government advice we are trying to ensure that everyone who can, remains at home.

Those few students who have been attending Ninestiles this week will now be safely accommodated at Yarnfield Primary School, another academy in Summit Learning Trust. We will ensure that Ninestiles students and Ninestiles staff who are supervising them have a separate entrance to the school, have completely separate working and eating spaces and different toilets to ensure that there is minimal risk of contact. Any Ninestiles student who fits the required category for school attendance, should let the school know so that they can be directed to the appropriate entrance at Yarnfield.

Please ensure that you follow all government advice and guidance to stay safe and well, and look at the school website regularly to make sure that you are getting all up to date information.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Hughes
