Curriculum Intent

In our ever-evolving digital world, the possibilities are endless! Our Computer Science curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity, foster innovation, and equip learners with the skills to thrive in the tech-driven landscape of tomorrow. We focus on developing coding skills, nurturing resilience, and encouraging an inquisitive mindset. Our programme seamlessly integrates literacy, numeracy, and creativity, ensuring learners are well-rounded and versatile.

Computer Science began during World War II and became a distinct field in the 1960s and 1970s but today, it encompasses everything from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity and data science. The demand for computer science professionals is growing rapidly, with double-digit annual growth projected for jobs in this field. We therefore empower our learners to become the creators and problem-solvers of the future who will be prepared for the careers of 2030 and beyond!
